Max has arrived!

I'll be honest. This was a pretty easy shoot. Max was calm and alert and then sleepy and agreeable (even when placed in one of my prop wagons). He was the perfect host.  His house in Baltimore, MD was full of light and interesting backgrounds for a photo shoot. Chalkboard walls, lights in trees... everything I love and have in my own home.
You never know what you are going to get when you arrive at the house of a new client. That is part of the fun, of course – finding the perfect spot for the perfect shot. In Max's case it wasn't much of a hunt. He really knows how to decorate a place.

Trey is 1!

When Trey's mom and dad loaded the car and drove from Alexandria, Va to Annapolis, MD for his celebratory First Year photoshoot,  he thought they were heading out for some crabs or maybe a nice afternoon stroll through City Dock.  You can imagine his surprise when he met me.

Though a bit weary at first, it didn't take long to get him smiling and laughing (though with one eye on his mom at all times).  These are my favorite photos from our Annapolis sunset photo session.
