Baby Sophia doesn't want to miss a moment of her new life. Typically, when I arrive at a newborn photo shoot I have two options, sleeping baby or screaming baby . Sophia, the sophisticated Washington DC city girl that she is, was neither. Wide awake and relaxing near her parents, this little one was determined to witness our entire Mother's Day newborn photo session.

Sawyer Barr has nothing to worry about. He already has a best friend (his brother, Lincoln) a Daddy who's soothing voice can put him at ease, and a tough as nails momma who drove herself to the hospital on the day he was born. This little guy is gonna take Edgewater, MD by storm. But first he has to learn that sleeping happens at night. Rest well, baby Sawyer.
